Malanje is a remote region of Angola full of beautiful and historic scenery such as the Black Rocks, generally known as Piedras Negras. The Black Rocks are a series of the giant mysterious rock formation shaped in the forms of animals in the Savanna. 

The Kalandula Falls, also located in Malanje province inside Angola, are 105 meters high and are considered one of the largest waterfalls by volume in Africa. This major waterfall is powerful and impressive since it's surrounded by scenic landscapes to match, great grasslands, and spanning savannas. That's why its one true wonder of the world under wraps, and a hidden treasure that sees little guest visits compared to Zim-Zam's Victoria Falls, so be part of it and discover it for yourself!

Angola's interior here is known for its beautiful scenery and the drive is great! Such forest life in a little known extrension of the ecosystem stretching from the as demonstrated in the area's botanical garden. Ndaalatando botanical garden contains impressive specimens from the 3rd most biodiverse country on earth (after Madagascar and Brazil) notably of some prominent megabamboos, rubber trees, podocarps and fruit trees. 

Round it off with Cangadala National Park, for some wildlife watching of endemic Angola, in one of the farthest and most remote Angolan Parks, and call it a day!

All in all this is a short but great value multi-day safari from Luanda, if you are only here on a transit visa or have a short time in country.

This morning your guide will pick you up from your hotel/accommodation in Luanda to drive to Kalandula. En-route visit  Ndalatando Botanical Gardens en route, here is where you will also have lunch. This afternoon have the opportunity to visit Kalandula Waterfalls. Overnight near.
