Day 1: Friday August 18th, 2023: Welcome to Mount Hagen

Today upon your arrival to Mount Hagen from Port Moresby. You will be met at the airport and then transferred to the hotel. Overnight Kumul Lodge (D)

Day 2: Saturday August 19th, 2023

This morning after an early breakfast depart to the Hagen Show grounds to witness how the tribes prepare for the show (body decorations, etc). Today will be a full day  at featuring the fascinating culturals and traditions of Papua New Guinea. After the show today, scenic drive tour if time permitting.  Overnight: Kumul Lodge (B,L,D)

Day 3: Sunday August 20th, 2023

Full day Mount Hagen Show. After the show, scenic drive tour if time permitting.  Overnight::  Kumul  Lodge (BLD)

Day 4: Monday August 21st, 2023

This morning you will be transferred from the lodge to the Hagen airport for your departing flight to Port Moresby.

We use several different lodges to fill all our tour slots, as well as guide's own accommodation and villages, to house you for this. At the time of booking you will be placed into one of these budget but comfortable local lodges. You can ask which one beforehand and we can tell you where you can or will be lodged. For comfort, and we still beat every price out there even on the higher end accommodation, we can also book slots at Highlander Hotel (Coral Sea Group) for an upgraded price (several hundred more USD supplement.)
