Grassfields Villages and Southern Cameroon people are very attached to their roots. They have managed to preserve their authentic culture, far from any modern influence. You will also have the opportunity to visit Bimbia, which still reminds us of the historic slave trade activities on the Cameroon coast in that regrettable but long era of history.
This trip is to discover the expressive culture and traditions of the West and Nord West Regions of Cameroon. You will meet the hardworking and dynamic Grassfields and southern Cameroon people, very attached to their roots.
We end the tour with leisure at the sea resort city of Limbe the ´´City of Friendship´´

ITINERARY SUMMARY

Day 1: Arrive to Cameroon in the night, welcoming at the airport and transfer to hotel la Falaise or similar(4 stars).
Day 2: Yaoundé- Batoufam(250 km) – Bangou(50 km)
After breakfast, quick visit of Yaoundé city and drive to West Region. Visit the touristic site of Batoufam royal palace, with its living museum. Meet and chat with the King of village, then drive to Bangou. Free relaxation in Tagidor garden and overnight in Tagidor hotel(4 stars).
Day 3: Tagidor garden
Full day discovering the attractions of Tagidor touristic site. Diner and overnight in Tagidor hotel.
Day 4: Bangou- Bapa – Baham- Bandjoun- Bafoussam
After breakfast, drive to Bapa kingdom; visit the Bapa royal palace with its rich museum. Continue to Baham and visit the sacred caves of “FOVU”. Visit the Chief Palace of Bandjoun on the way to Bafoussam. Dinner and overnight at Zingana hotel(4 stars).
Day 5: Bafoussam- Foumban- Bamendjing- Mbouda
In the morning, drive to Foumbot and visit the market. Continue to Foumban and discover the Bamoun kingdom. Visit the sultanat and its wonderful museum, the handicraft quarter and several other attractions in the city. Drive to Bamendjing and visit the lake on Noun river, then the Bamendjing dam. Continue to Mbouda, with stop on the way to admire the beauty of west region’s landscape from the top of Tsopèh mountain. Diner and overnight in Hotel Mangwa(3 stars)
Day 6: Mbouda- Bamendjinda- Bafoussam
After breakfast, drive to the foot of mount Bamboutos. Trekking on the mountain, and admire the nice landscape of the area. Drive to Bamendjinda, and visit the slavery museum of the royal palace. Visit the Metche waterfalls, then drive to Bafoussam. Free relaxation in the evening, diner and overnight in Zingana hotel(4 stars)
Day 7: Bafoussam- Yaoundé- return flight
After breakfast, drive from Bafoussam to Yaoundé. Visit the ECOPARK touristic site in the afternoon, and free relaxation there. Early diner in ECOPARK restaurant, before transfer to the airport in the night for the return flight.
End of tour.
